The Area

The village of Carrbridge sits within the Cairngorm National Park, an area of outstanding beauty in the Scottish Highlands. The famous pack horse bridge stands over the River Dulnain in the centre of the village, which is also known for the Landmark Adventure Forest Park. Oat lovers might note Carrbridge is also home to the annual World Porridge Championships as well as an annual chain saw wood carving festival! The town of Aviemore is a 15 min drive from Carrbridge en route to the Cairngorm mountains and a convenient place to stock up supplies from its larger supermarkets and shopping centres.
